Our way of celebrating Earth Day and the Seasons, was to express our appreciation of color in nature , and how our understanding of color comes from nature, A few examples are via plants, flowers , sunsets and rainbows. We discussed how cave dwelling people and Aboriginals first ground rocks , roots, berries and seeds to make the pigments they used for their art and many of these sources are still used today.
