Design Compositions

Last week we refreshed a lot of our design element and color skills. Taking cues from the cave painting symbols and other textures, the children created interesting pieces. I asked that they keep in mind balance, line , design and use a variety of techniques. Most of them are so accomplished at taking a cue and without hesitation, running with it. I always love seeing the results. As the week progressed, the works became more refined and the children who were in Friday's class, took the same elements and applied them to sculptures.
