A Brief History of Masks

In celebration of Halloween week,

we explored a brief history of masks.

We looked at images from a variety

of cultures from around the globe,

and discussed the way in which

masks played a part in the rituals

and festivals of each.The class then

designed their own creations which

turned out to be fun and very diverse.

Our other project for Halloween week, was making our own scratch boards . The children loved this process and most voted it 10 out of 10.
